With the live world premiere CD Release Show for Arizona slated for Valentine’s Day night at Strange Brew Lounge Side in Austin, Stephen is in the midst of a lightning blitz of media events and rehearsals for the highly anticipated show. The press begins accumulating in the first week of February and peaks on the eve of the full-band performance of Arizona for the first time anywhere.

The promotion kicks off the day after the Super Bowl as Stephen is Johnny Goudie’s guest artist on his widely loved podcast, How Did I Get Here?. The show will be recorded on Monday, February 2nd and released for podcasting on Tuesday, February 10th.

February 2nd is a busy day, which kicks off on “Buzz in the Morning” on FNTX.com with Doster as the guest artist on the Texas centric morning music show. Later in the day, he will be interviewed by Peter Blackstock of the Austin American-Statesman for a feature article that will be published on Friday the 13th, the day before the Valentine’s release show.

On the same day as the Statesman feature article, Stephen and band will perform live on the air with KUTX’s Jody Denberg in Studio 1-A. The show which will feature an interview and live performances will be broadcast on FM 98.9 in Austin, and can also be streamed live through the internet, or via the KUTX app.

In between, Stephen will also be featured on Tom Tranchilla’s “HAAM Radio Presents” show on Houston’s KPFT FM 90.1 in a phone in interview on Sunday, February 8th.

Additionally, Waterloo Records fans can see the large 3′ by 5′ window cling poster for Arizona in the front corner window pane on the 6th Street side of the venerable indy record store now through SXSW. Doster fans can sample Arizona at Wateroo’s in store listening stations and also purchase Arizona CDs at a sale price of only $9.99 as part of Waterloo’s “Hear Texas Here” campaign.
